Big Things This Fall at OARN
We thought that fall would never get here and this week the leaves are changing color in my backyard, temperatures are dropping and pumpkins are lining the porches. The network of Relief Nurseries is celebrating as well! In late September the OARN Board of Directors met in Bend for our annual time to recalibrate our vision, renew relationships and gain new skills. This year our focus was on “Building a More Just and Equitable Network.” To do this we brought in trainers from Capacity Building Partnerships. Their staff gave our leadership two full days of learning and growing in justice, equity, and transformational leadership. They set us on the trajectory of becoming better humans and gave us tools to help each Relief Nursery grow and learn. I highly recommend this agency for others wanting to level up their awareness and justice!
