Managing Director
Oregon Association of Relief Nurseries (OARN)
This position requires access to a home-based office located in the state of Oregon. Fully Remote, but within driving distance of Salem, Oregon to be able to personally attend and participate in state-level meetings. This position requires routine statewide travel for certification visits, Board and RN staff meetings and events, and legislative meetings.
This position serves as a primary spokesperson for OARN and Relief Nurseries across the state. Manage all operations of OARN, ensuring their consistency with the mission and goals of the organization. Manage the execution of budget preparation, financial management and human resource policies. Provide leadership in raising significant private revenue from individuals, businesses, and foundations. Nurture existing partnerships with multiple public and private agencies. Inspire, engage and support the Board of Directors and staff.

The Outreach Coordinator position serves as the coordinator for services to children enrolled in the Outreach program, including recruitment, enrollment, home visitation, social play groups and respite care. The Outreach Coordinator provides program case management services to children and families that include health social services, and parent education.

Help to build the resiliency and social-emotional skills of very young children while helping to strengthen their families. Co-teach in a therapeutic early childhood classroom, supporting ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. Conduct weekly to monthly home visits to all families on caseload, providing parent education. Assist families in setting goals for their children and their families, as well as connecting them to available resources. Work with our program team to organize and provide additional services, such as door-to-door transportation for children in the therapeutic classroom, family fun events, and parent education group classes.
