Partners in Prevention
Public-Private Partnership
Relief Nurseries start with interest and financial investment from community members. Their continued success hinges on the time and resources committed by individuals and foundations who give.
The Oregon legislature has been investing in Relief Nurseries since before 1999. That investment has grown over time as more communities have expressed interest and built their own programs.

25% Community Match
Since its inception, the Relief Nursery model has required a matching investment from the community. While the minimum community match is just 25% of the state allocation, all Relief Nurseries must raise more funding to keep operations going. Find out how you can be one of our partners!
