Help to build the resiliency and social-emotional skills of very young children while helping to strengthen their families. Co-teach in a therapeutic early childhood classroom, supporting ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. Conduct weekly to monthly home visits to all families on caseload, providing parent education. Assist families in setting goals for their children and their families, as well as connecting them to available resources. Work with our program team to organize and provide additional services, such as door-to-door transportation for children in the therapeutic classroom, family fun events, and parent education group classes.

Family Building Blocks is a non-profit organization that serves children and families with the mission to keep children safe and families together. As a Relief Nursery Teacher, you will work and collaborate as a member of a teaching team to provide high-quality, research-based early childhood services to children and families. You will develop, implement, and review activities to provide a developmentally appropriate early childhood program including environment, lesson plans, class schedules, documentation, and referrals to supporting agencies
